Been reading about our nearest neighboring star, Proxima Centauri. It's only 4.2 light years away, just 30.9 trillion km. Sadly, with out current technology, it would take us over 70,000 years to get there!
The furthest visible stars are 13.2 BILLION light years away, and by cosmologists' standards, they're still fairly local, at just over 123,000,000,000,000,000,000,000 km away!
Think of taking a trip there!!
